        Course Description

This Sheraton resort has two outstanding eighteen hole courses and a nine hole regulation course. The courses are well maintained and look like an oasis of green against the earth tones of the surrounding desert and the majestic backdrop of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Locals consider the Canada and Conquistador Courses as being comparable to country club courses. The Canada Course (formerly known as the Sunrise Course) might be considered the more difficult of the two. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are elevated. The Nine Hole Course, the resort course, is the most difficult nine of the five. This course was built on the side of the mountain, resulting in many side-hill lies and difficult putts. The greens are severely undulating, and some blind shots are required in order to reach the elevated greens. There is a separate pro shop for the Nine Hole Course which you can reach by calling (520) 544-1770. The green fees listed are in effect from December 26 until March 31 for the public.
